WINGS
Women Innovating in Gastrointestinal Science

networking and career development for women in GI & liver academic research

130+ members and counting!

DDW2025 meetup

Connect. Empower. Inspire.

As basic science and translational researchers, we understand the unique challenges faced by women in GI academic science. We started WINGS to provide career development, 1-on-1 mentoring opportunities and small group support networks among female GI & liver researchers to help women stay in the academic pipeline and thrive in their research careers.

If you are currently a graduate student/postdoctoral trainee, we see you! As we build our community, we are first prioritizing the needs of faculty, but we have every intention of bringing in early career GI researchers. Sign up for our email list so that you are the first to know when we expand.
